Let’s Go, with Matt Ortile is a bi-weekly newsletter about travel written by me, Matt Ortile, an editor at Condé Nast Traveler and the author of the essay collection The Groom Will Keep His Name.

Each edition of Let’s Go comes with travel recommendations and advice, mini-reviews, links, and commentary, though perhaps not all at once, every time. I’ll share intel about the destinations, hotels, and restaurants I think you should try, news-you-can-use, and travel tips. Yes, I’ll teach you how to parlay those Chase or AmEx points into a first-class flight.

And because I’m a writer who started out as a personal essayist and is now a travel magazine editor, I will also include short essays about my trips, dispatches from the road (or air), and the latest about other work I’m up to. As such, I’ll also discuss travel-related topics like food and cultural history, language, class, immigration, global news topics, and more.
